A self healing, non residential retreat

A Non-Residential Training Retreat for Aspiring Reiki Professionals

Step into the next phase of your Reiki journey with this retreat style training weekend, designed for those who have completed Reiki Level One and are ready to advance toward becoming certified practitioners.

This retreat will equip you with the skills, tools, and techniques needed to share Reiki professionally, allowing you to confidently offer healing to others in a structured, ethical, and compassionate manner.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll engage in hands-on practice, receive advanced instruction on practitioner techniques, and explore professional considerations and client care, deepening your understanding of Reiki as a healing art.

Beginning on Friday evening and concluding Sunday afternoon, this training provides a supportive environment to gain the expertise and certification required to begin your path as a Reiki Practitioner. The weekend begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon.

Okuden: The Inner Teachings of Reiki

“Okuden” is a Japanese term meaning “inner teachings,” and this course delves deeper into the wisdom of Usui Mikao. At this level, students develop a profound connection to both Earth and Heaven energies, taking the first steps toward a harmonious integration with the universe.

In Okuden, students learn to work with shirushi (symbols) and jumon (mantras) to expand their energy levels and sensitivity. These elements are used not as external tools, but as powerful means of inner transformation. Through practices that include chanting and visualisation, students enhance their ability to cultivate spiritual awareness.

This level also qualifies students to begin practicing Reiki professionally, giving them the knowledge and attunement needed to share this healing art with others.

Overview

Reiki is a holistic system originating from Japan for enhancing self-awareness, promoting inner peace, and fostering spiritual & personal growth. The original system of Reiki supports us in connecting with our own inner wisdom, cultivate mindfulness, and deepen our understanding of energy dynamics within ourselves and the universe.

Throughout the weekend you will be guided through therapeutic yoga practices that compliment the energy healing work. The pranayama & asana practices will offer an opportunity to embody the reiki principles and energetic connection

Reiki & energy medicine is something that Emma has been exposed to from a young age, with both parents Reiki practitioners & energy healers. Emma uses Reiki in her daily practice to promote self healing & energy cleansing. She also finds it a powerful modality to bring into therapeutic hands on yoga adjustments as well as seeing & feeling the energy of her students.

Emma’s intention is to create a transformational space for growth, inspiration and joy. Her style is a non-dogmatic approach to the yoga practice, taking inspiration from yogis of past and present. Emma loves to blend modern anatomy teachings with traditional yogic philosophy to create well rounded sessions where you can learn about the fascinating biomechanics of your body, while giving your mind some well needed time and space away from the pressures of daily life.
